The 13th International Conference "Actual Problems of Electron Devices and Engineering" (APEDE’2018)

From September 27 to September 28, in the city of Saratov on the basis of the department "Electronic devices and devices" of the School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering of the Yuri Gagarin State Technical University of Saratov, the 13th International Conference "Actual Problems of Electron Devices and Engineering" (APEDE’2018) was held. MIEM HSE at the conference was represented by the staff of the School of Electronic Engineering

Visit of Professor Arkady Shanenko (Brazil)

From May 14 until May 25 Prof. Dr. Arkady Shanenko from the Federal University of Pernambuco (Recife city, Brazil) was visiting the School of Electronic Engineering at MIEM HSE. The coordinator of the visit was the Associate Professor of the School of Electronic Engineering Dr. A. S. Vasenko.

HSE MIEM Professor Elected Fellow of American Physical Society

The American Physical Society (APS) has recognised HSE MIEM Professor Lev Shchur for his innovative use of computer simulations and the development of superior random number generators for their use in statistical physics. Professor Shchur is the only academic working in Russia to be selected as APS Fellow in 2017.
